Stephanie grew up in St. Stephen, N.B. where she graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2001. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2005. She opened Bone Physiotherapy & Wellness in 2013 with a vision of treating her clients locally but continuing to obtain the latest knowledge and skill and bringing it back to her clients. She has worked hard to create a learning environment where therapists can work as a team and consult with each other to best serve our clients.
Stephanie’s treatment philosophy is “Leave everyone you meet better than you found them. Become an encourager of potential versus a destroyer of confidence.” Robyn Sharma
Stephanie has taken a wide variety of post graduate courses. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopedic and Women’s Health divisions. Stephanie continues to advance her hands on manual and manipulative therapy through the Orthopedic division. Stephanie strives to empower her clients with the knowledge and confidence needed to live well. She is currently expecting her first child and will be more hands off around the clinic in 2018.
Ashley grew up in St. Stephen, N.B where she graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2006. She then completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (cooperative) from Memorial University in 2010 and her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2012.
Ashley’s treatment philosophy is “To get to where you want to go will require a journey, not a quick fix, and you will probably need to be courageous, patient and persistent” Lorimer Moseley.
Ashley has taken many post graduate courses in different areas of practice. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Pediatrics and Pain Sciences divisions. In 2015 she completed a Pain Sciences mentorship program working collaboratively with Mike Sangster, Clinical Specialist in Pain Sciences. In 2015 she was the recipient of the New Brunswick Physiotherapy Association Young Leadership Award. She has been a board director of the New Brunswick Physiotherapy Association since 2014. She is also the Head Trainer for the St. Stephen Aces MHL Junior A Hockey Team. Ashley strives to educate and motivate her clients to take an active role in their health. She treats clients of all ages from babies to seniors.
Patty spent 34 years working as the Executive Assistant to the Facility Manager at the Charlotte County Hospital, retiring in December 2013 to come work with her daughter.
Patty’s professional and organizational skills are essential to the day to day operations of the clinic. She has led the way and taught Emma our newest Office Management staff member how to successfully run the front end of the business and be our welcoming face when you enter the clinic.
Patty is stepping back in 2018 doing more work behind the scenes and making time to enjoy her grandchildren and semi-retired life.
Emma grew up in St. Stephen, N.B. where she graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2016. She started at Bone Physiotherapy as a Co-Operative student and has remained with the team ever since. She has been working full time as an Office Manager since July 2016.
Emma’s kind and professional nature is such an integral part of the culture of Bone Physiotherapy from the moment you speak to her on the phone or walk through our doors. She has a passion for working with people and will gladly assist you with all your scheduling and billing needs.
