Stephanie grew up in St. Stephen, N.B. where she graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2001. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2005. She opened Bone Physiotherapy & Wellness in 2013 with a vision of treating her clients locally but continuing to obtain the latest knowledge and skill and bringing it back to her clients. She has worked hard to create a learning environment where therapists can work as a team and consult with each other to best serve our clients.
Stephanie’s treatment philosophy is “Leave everyone you meet better than you found them. Become an encourager of potential versus a destroyer of confidence.” Robyn Sharma
Stephanie has taken a wide variety of post graduate courses. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopedic and Women’s Health divisions. Stephanie continues to advance her hands on manual and manipulative therapy through the Orthopedic division. Stephanie strives to empower her clients with the knowledge and confidence needed to live well.
She is currently on maternity leave for 2021.
Ashley grew up in St. Stephen, N.B where she graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2006. She then completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (cooperative) from Memorial University in 2010 and her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2012.
Ashley’s treatment philosophy is “To get to where you want to go will require a journey, not a quick fix, and you will probably need to be courageous, patient and persistent” Lorimer Moseley.
Ashley has taken many post graduate courses in different areas of practice. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Pediatrics, Pain Sciences and Women’s divisions. In 2015 she completed a Pain Sciences mentorship program working collaboratively with Mike Sangster, Clinical Specialist in Pain Sciences. In 2015 she was the recipient of the New Brunswick Physiotherapy Association Young Leadership Award. She is currently the President of the New Brunswick Physiotherapy Association and has been an active board member since 2014. She was the Head Trainer for the St. Stephen Aces MHL Junior A Hockey Team. Ashley strives to educate and motivate her clients to take an active role in their health. She treats clients of all ages from babies to seniors.
Rebecca grew up in Nackawic, N.B. where she graduated from High School in 2014. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of New Brunswick in 2018 where she was the recipient of the Carlton C. Covey Scholarship, Sir George E. Foster Scholarship, and the Edwin Jacob Special University Scholarship. Rebecca completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2020 where she was the recipient of the Lynn Irving scholarship. Rebecca completed her thesis on “Ultrasound Imaging to Provide Pelvic Floor Muscle Biofeedback for Postpartum Women Experiencing Coincident Low Back Pain and Stress Urinary Incontinence”.
Rebecca’s goal for her treatment is to apply her knowledge of body movement and passion for helping people to pursue a greater quality of life for her clients. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is happy to join the Bone Physiotherapy team and to continue her clinical journey in such a mentoring atmosphere and small town of St. Stephen.
Megan grew up in St. Stephen, N.B. where she graduated from St. Stephen High School in 2004. She finished the Office Administration course through the New Brunswick Community College in 2005 and her Medical Terminology course in 2009. You may recognize her from her time working at Shopper’s Drug Mart and Jean Coutu Pharmacy.
Megan is bringing years of experience and professionalism with her to Bone Physiotherapy & Wellness to successfully run the front end of the business and greet you with her kind and caring personality.
